I support Minnesota proposed Voter ID constitutional amendment because it protects the integrity of our electoral process.  If a duly elected President and body of Congress has the power and authority to spend trillions of dollars and to send American men and women into combat then they had better be properly elected.

For those that are opposed to Voter ID I ask that you consider this:

The 2000 Presidential election was decided by less than 800 votes in the state of Florida.  It can easily be argued that if Al Gore were President we would not have had gone to war in Iraq after Sept 11. The American people and our men and women in uniform deserve elected officials that are properly elected and lawfully appointed.

Voter ID works to ensure we are our elected officials are properly elected.
